Our second building achieved the „green“ BREEAM Certificate rate Excellent. The best-rated features of the building include the energy efficiency and the healthy working environment. The waste management has received a high rating, too. Overall, the building reached 77.2%, which ranks it among the top sustainable buildings in Slovakia.
BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) comes from the Great Britain. The method is based on the assessment of ten categories with different ecological weight: management (12%), health and wellbeing (15%), energy (19%), transport (8%), water (6%), materials (12.5%), waste (7.5%), land use and ecology (10%), pollution (10%) and innovation (10%).
