“The greenest” certified building in Slovakia is currently the EcoPoint Office Center in Košice. The building obtained the LEED Goldcertificate and achieved 73 points which ranks this building in the first place in the field of sustainable construction in Slovakia.
On 23 Septemeber 2014 the Executive Director of the Slovak Green Building Council Mr. Ladislav Piršel officially handed over the LEED GOLD certificate to investors of the building. Representatives of all of the companies that participated in the preparation and construction of this project were present at the official handover ceremony. The guests included representatives of the city of Košice led by the Mayor Mr. Richard Raši.
